On a boat - big boat.
Days at sea - no touring, no sightseeing, no schedule.
No other people (well, except for The Great Dane)
Really good bed, pile of books, split of champagne every night.
Perfect.

My holiday never was as sunny and relaxing as the one in your post today.
Since I am retired I like to take my holiday in short portions when School has started.
I sure wouldn't say no the some days i the South either.

Because I am a housewife and spend most of my time inside, I hate relaxing on holidays. I like to always be out and be doing stuff. I can relax at home any time... boring. :D

My job's demanding so holidays are for reading, eating & sleeping (not necessarily in that order!)

Sightseeing! :)

Mine's here.

To relax, at home or away, is what we need to do. Slow down our pace a bit. Whatever it is, we need to recharge and not work - whatever the activity...

I love to spend my vacation exploring new countries. But lazing around at home sounds nice too.

I mostly like doing travel during holidays, tire myself out, eat a lot, sleep late and then, when I go home I would wish I stayed home and had less laundry. Have a good week! my RT is up here.

I'm a homeschooler so it's always like a holiday now =)

But, when I was not homeschooling.. I love spending my time drawing and watching television.

Have a splendid day,

Hey Nora ~~ I like to explore. Most new places fascinate me, except I can only take about three museums and two castles in one day. :)

Our next will probably be in January on the big boat in the Caribbean. We've never been to Key West. I would like to stay more than a day but that's what the boat has planned.

Oh yes, Nebraska will be for relatives in October. Louisiana also.

Then Europe is more within our reach now because our daughter and her family have moved to London. Portugal would be a new country for me. Don't know why we missed it. Also touring Norway and the deep fjords. We traveled a wide one into Oslo this summer.

Australia and Anartica are on my bucket list. I have scratched off the South Pole. That I have missed.

This year the holidays were: 1. time intended for solitude at the beach with my little doggie (her last trip before she went to dog heaven) 2. wandering Italy and then doing a 5-day photography workshop 3. spending a week writing at the IWWG conference for women writers and 4. the upcoming trip to Mexico with artists and writers I know. I always love visiting your site, because Lola looks just like my now-departed Latte.

I can't remember the last time I did, but it's usually a combination of sightseeing and relaxing...well, come to think of it, mostly sightseeing and shopping. My husband is a type A personality who never sits still. It's getting harder for me to keep up and I don't have the same energy I used to. If I travelled alone right now, I'd say I'd love nothing better than to sit by the ocean and read a few good books. Oh, yes, and maybe take a few good pictures of the area to share with my blogging friends.

Happy Rednesday to you too. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh baby, here on the Ponderosa Labor Day is taken very seriously. It usually involves tractors and plows plantin' the winter wheat. Hubby has always reminded me "it is Labor Day after all!!!" Heeehehehehe!

God bless ya and have a super fun day! :o)
