Dear readers, I am participating in Alphabe-Thursday where ‘A’ is for ACCESSORIES – DESIGNER ACCESSORY TRENDS FOR FALL 2010!
Belts, it seems, are skinny, bags pared down, shoes have slightly lower heels (in line with the economy!) and yeti boots are, I read, essential! Do let me know which you like and may follow and those you can’t stand:
1. YSL - above (love the chain and gloves!)
2. Chloe - 70’s style camel shoulder bag (below)
3. Versace – so shiny and reminiscent of sweet wrappers?
4. Proenza Schouler – meant to be an alternative to the ‘It’ bag! What do you think?
5. YSL – do you like this horse hair down heel?
6. Stella McCartney – lower heels
7. Chanel – love these faux fur Yeti boots!
8. Alexander McQueen – boots to keep out all that winter snow!
Do tell me! And do check out other Alphabe-Thursday posts @ Jenny Matlock!
And, finally, thank you to all my dear readers and also new followers who visited or commented this week! Have a great weekend and see you again for Six Word Saturday!
Enjoy!
XOXO LOLA:)

Hi Nora and Lola,
Yes love the chain and gloves and the Chanel boots - saw the runway show the other day.
They would be so warm and cozy.
Hope that your week is going well.
Hugs
Carolyn
Perhaps the Chloe bag - but not another thing. I'm short and try to keep accessories to a minimum.
I can't believe it is called the lower heal. I don't think I could walk in it. The accessories are all wonderful.
I am so fashion backwards none of this would be found in my closet...cool post though.
I love accessories. It's like the icing on the cake. Don't hate me, but I rarely follow trends.
Have a great week! La
I will take #2 and #4 ---love leather bags...camel and black...perfect for me....must haves for fall...bkm
omg, hate skinny belts, love the yeti boots and wishes i could have those Alexander McQueen boots and that Proenza Schouler bag ... love it!!!
I can definitely live without the horsehair heels.
I like the bags, though.
=)
Dear Nora,
Back! I would go with the gloves, they must make a very feminine comeback. You forget cloches! My favourite 20s/30s hats are everywhere now. Crikey.
I had some boots made out of horse hair years ago - yay, I was briefly a trend setter
Your blog is my chance to stay abreast of current fashions - and then as ever wear what I always wear
bisous
What fun, I do like a bit of trend watching, though when I saw the yeti boots on the commuter train this afternoon, in shocking pink no less it made me wonder..... love the coach bag, was a proud owner of one in the 70s
Hello Nora and Lola :)
I LOVE these trends! I have my mom's skinny belt which was used when she was still studying, I've never worn it. And I adore these shoes though I am mostly on flats most of the time as I get tired, plus they aren't good for our feet.

Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen are AWESOME!

I am the anti-trend setter! You will not catch be sporting any of those accessories, which is good because I don't have those kind of funds anyway! Fun post showing the trends though!
Oh dear, I really am fashion challenged. If I can't wear jeans and a t shirt, I don't go. I think I need a stylist or something?
Love the versace bag.
Not so much the horse main shoes.
This was a very stylish post. I am always tortured by accessories so I just use the same purse all year round and forego the jewelry.
Thanks for a fun link to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "A".

Purse yes, boots no!

Love the Chloe bag and the Stella McCartney shoes if only the heels weren't so high!!
Sorry, those fur boots aren't for me!!!
Love the A post!
I love #3 & #6! #5 & #7 are just odd to me lol
I like 2 ,4 and 6.Do real normal people wear Yeti boots? For real?I think it's really over the top and I might giggle if I see somebody wearing that.Sorry if it offends somebody who actually owns it.That's just my opinion.
