*V*ERTIGO ... GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME?

Dear readers, this week, ‘V’ IS FOR *V*ERTIGO! *V*ertigo tops a recent film survey, ending the reign of Citizen Kane!Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 film has ended the 50-year dominance of Orson Welles’s masterpiece in the respected British Film Institutes's decennial Greatest Films survey.

Vertigo's achievement is all the more impressive because the survey, which is considered one of the most authoritative, was bigger  this year than ever before, with 846 critics and writers worldwide taking part.
