THE MASSACHUSETTS COASTLINE
You can sunbathe, fish for marlin or whale watch in the bays – but you can’t escape the ghosts of the Pilgrim Fathers of Plymouth and the Puritans of Boston, of John Adams and John Kennedy - all reminders of the unique position Massachusetts has occupied. Unique from a maritime perspective too, because it was from here that America began to spread its influence and interests all around the world. Without doubt a place full of memories.

WHICH PLACE HAS SPECIAL MEMORIES FOR YOU TOO?

It would have to be Kingston, Ontario - where I first met The Great Dane, went to high school, learned to drive, had my first car etc etc
It's also Canada's first capital and present home of the two cutest little grandsons in the world!
Got to be my first visit to Spain- which was love at first sight!
Someday, I can pass on this line :-)
For me, my first trip to Paris. Loved it all-food, fashions, even the smell of garlic & gauloises everywhere!
Great shots of that coastline-especially the boats!
looks like a painting I love when life is so artistically beautiful
beautiful perspective.
Terrific pics of a terrific location!
Best memories are of first trip to Greece and its magical islands!
For me, probably Hyde Park. I have so many lovely memories of afternoons spent there with Mr P :D. Just thinking about it gives me a smile.
*kisses* HH
What a great shot! Not that I'm biased, being a Massachusetts guy. ;)
My "special places" are all mountainous, be they New Hampshire's Whites or the Sierras of California. But that shot makes me long for the coast!
That first shot is really marvelous!
Beautiful photos! Mine is my first visit to Tokyo when I was 13. It was my first Christmas out of the country and we did have loads of fun.

Hi Nora and Lola,
Happy Ruby Tuesday, dear friends.
Love the beautiful photos you have shared.
Happy memories for me... probably the very small town that I grew up in and Paris would have to be up there.
Happy week

Fantabulous photo share!!! I really enjoyed the wonderful scenery.
My ruby tuesday is now posted if you'd care to stop by.
thanks for the comment my friend. Me too, I am back here hahaha!
LOVE your reds Lola! Makes me want to go to the beach :) Happy RT!
I have to admit, being from the Bay State, that there's nothing like the Mass coastline! Cape Cod is so special! Of course, I also have fond memories of the two years I spent in Brussels!
The short time I spent in your country is a very special memory for me.
Gorgeous photos! I would love to see MA! The beaches of So. Cal. have been the back drop to many events in my life and hold many precious memories.
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
