Oooh, I'm drooling over those cupcakes! I'd have to say as a child it was cookies and as an adult anything chocolate related, though I've gotten really good at holding back ;-)

When I was a kid I loved eating pizza as a midnight snack, pizza is still good even if it is cold. Actually I still feel the same way about pizza now. =) Have a yummy day. =)

When I was a teenager it was any breakfast food. We'd stay out late and, of course, we'd go have breakfast. Shhhh... It's still my favorite food which I could eat any time of the day. But believe it or not, my late night treat is simple now--two toasts and a glass of apple juice. I love having that in the middle of the night if I get the hungries.

That red velvet cupcake looks amazing. Have a great day!

I was never allowed to stay up that late as a child, and as an adult, I'm usually in bed by 11 LOL, but if I did have a midnight feast I'd probably make myself some fresh cookies (I keep a bag of frozen cookies in the freezer that just need to go into the oven for fresh cookies, they are chocolate chip) with tea.

Nora and Lola, the cupcakes look divine! They are numbered... do you have a key? :)

As a child, I was always asleep at midnight. Now, if I eat anything late at night it's always left-over dinner stuff - I don't do dessert!

...I know, "Booooriiing!"

Midnight snack as a child?? Was I a child? Yes, but I don't remember. Now, an open face peanut butter sandwich is my snack of choice, sometimes supplemented by a mug of warm milk.

The cupcakes are tempting, though!

You are tempting me! Tsk, tsk!

The very best midnight feast is after an actual feast, like Christmas or Thanksgiving when there's leftover mincemeat pie, cranberry sauce, turkey and dressing. mmmmm

I can't remember you know. What a shame and at a guess I would say anything cold leftover from supper. My mum was a fabulous cook and I have the hips to prove it.

my mother used to cook us some scrambled eggs and bread for midnight snack. I miss those times. My Ruby Tue is here.

My favorite late night snack is ice cream, but I could be persuaded to have one of those cupcakes!

What a fun topic! I've never been much of a late night snacker but cereal is always a good treat! I like my cereal with half rice milk and half almond milk. It's so yummy! Have a great week ahead!

I LOVE questions!
And such scrumptious looking cupcakes.

I remember I ate Jelly and chocolate while watching Terminator when I was small.. but that wasn't my favorite snack.

And I don't eat late now days since my mom said it's bad :S
But I LOVE pizza, donuts, and pasta!

Those cupcakes look scrumptious. As a child it was oreo cookies and milk. As an adult either donuts, any kind or pie, or both :D

Those are great looking cupcakes. I especially like the one with the skull as the Days of the Dead are quickly approaching.
You know, as fat and out-of-shape as I am, I never eat late at night. And I'm up many nights as i don't sleep well usually. Long ago, I would love to catch an all night diner for bacon and eggs. That probably is my all time favorite late night food.
Thanks for asking. Enjoyed my Ruby visit here.

peace.

Hi Nora and Lola,

Probably I would have to say, when I had a sleepover it would have been some lollies and fizzy.
Glad I do not have the urge to eat in the middle of the night now.
The cupcakes look yummy.

Enjoy the rest of the week

I have to say, I was never up a that time of night when growing up. Things were different then. Mostly work and very little play. I would enjoy Blue Bell ice cream anytime tho.

Oh my -- these red velvet cupcakes look so good!

I remember collecting a large amount of candy at Halloween and hiding it under my bed. So if I ahd the urge to snack I'd take out a few pieces and eat them. It is probably why many of my teeth are capped now! lol!

At the moment I would be happy to have one of your Red Velvet cupcakes. But, normally my nightly raids are from the peanut butter jar. Covered in Strawberry jam, of course.

Thanks for the visit to my fire truck. I appreciate the comments. They are like the icing on your cupcakes.

Thanks so much for your visit to my Rednesday. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I think I will take #2. Your shots are great. The children in the circle is so sweet. You’ve got me a bit concerned....I get up and eat in the middle of the night every night BUT I am not overweight at all. I check it each and every morning and refuse to put on a single pound!
