13% PREFER TV TO THEIR PARTNER!

More than one in 10 (13%) Britons would rather give up their partner than their television, according to a survey by retailer and shopping channel QVC!

HOW IMPORTANT TO YOU IS YOUR TELEVISION? GIVEN A FREE CHOICE, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DESERT ISLAND ESSENTIAL - AND LUXURY?

Do let me know your views! Happy Six Word Saturday.

Either our telly is too bad or my man is too gorgeous but there is no way I would swap him for watching the box.

As for my essential - that would have to be Mr FF and my luxury would be the bichons of course - plus a lifetime of food for all of us

xx
Kisses to you know who...

That is truly sad! I would definitely take my husband over the TV.

No way I would prefer television over my hubby--or much of anything else! There is not much watching these days! On the deser island, my hubby would be my essential, my cat would be my luxury! LOL

Hi Nora, this is a neat post. I like the dog drawing.
My TV is right after my autographed poster of the dogs playing poker and my beer can collection. I think Mrs. Jim fits in there someplace, more than 13% :) .
I saw those two 'guy' favorites on TV this morning in an ad for 'Public Storage.' It was Public Storage to the rescue for the new bride.

I can believe that statistic! It's unreal how much time most of us spend watching tv.

Yikes! My husband is sadly addicted to TV but maybe that's because I sped so much time in the studio. Since moving last year I hardly watch TV at all and we're apending more quality time together.
More than you wanted to know!
Anyway, essentials would be safe shelter, water, my pets for sure and hubby. Whew!

happy sws :)

That is a sadly true stat.

I personally am addicted to my computer and have forgotten what the TV looks like.

I actually do more reading these days than TV. But summer vay-cay is coming up, so that very well could change!

Wow, that's an interesting survey.

Haha, when I had Astro I watched for 6 hours or more perday. Now I don't have Astro I only watch about 3 shows on weekdays.

And, my desert Island essential would be a phone that doesn't need credit, so that I won't get lonely and go mad >< And, tuns of delicious food.

Lovely Monday,
Berlin

Hi Nora and Lola,

I prefer my husband, over TV.
I do know that we sometimes spend too much time watching especially in winter when it is cold.

I hope that you are having a lovely weekend

I know my husband would give me up rather than his tv - or should I say my tv as I bought it!!!! lol!

Love the 101 Dalmatians pic - I remember it from the book I had as a child and the video my son has of it.
