George Clooney is selling his Lake Como villa for £26 m to escape the paparazzi. The Beckhams are, reportedly, fiercely attempting to purchase it - because of the paparazzi.
You couldn't make it up! What's your take? Am I being overly cynical? Do the Beckhams have as much right to paparazzi as George has to privacy?

I recall seeing inside of George's home (sans George) in a magazine, and I was amazed by how down to earth and non-Hollywood it looks inside... Courtesy of Gentleman George, I should guess... Unfortunately we won't be able to say the same about Lady Gaga, er, Beckingham Palace... Money doesn't always buy taste, Lola... I know the locals have said they'll be sad to lose George, I can't imagine the Beckhams will bring such cachet, but they will bring the Paps... x
