After my family, got to be the family photos. Then my computer etc!

Thought-provoking post!

Let's see: definitely the photo album first, then jewelry, favourite clothes and then my computer!

Dead simple - family photos as the computer and jewellery can be covered by the insurance. Thanks for popping by. Here's my Saturday Six

Agree with John above-everything's coverable by insurance!Interesting post!

Beg to disagree with John and Mike above! All my favorite photos are stored on my computer so that'd be #1 for me.Interesting post as always!

Life before the kids I would have said wedding dress, family photos and jewels but post babies its got to be the 3 tots and hubby :-)

It'd be my fur babies first. Material things just don't need to be saved. My memory is MY photo album. Not that they are unimportant, but lives are more important to me.

1. kids
2. dog
3. ? I doubt I'd do anything but hightail it straight out after that. Survival instinct and all.

Beth said...

After I knew the kids were out safe it would have to be my pictures and scrapbooks.

Difficult question and something I need to think about. One time we had to go to the basement for a tornado warning and I took my car keys and an almost finished quilt. My though was I was't going to do all that work and then loose it. lol

We live in a forest fire zone. One year, when faced with imminent evacuation I told me then-sixteen year old to find the things that meant the most and put them out to take with her. She chose her babyhood teddy (knit by her grandmother) her family photo, her autographed copy of her auntie's first novel and her bible.
I'd go for the baby albums, the computer and my purse with all my ID. It's getting harder and harder to get ID these days and I can't imagine starting from point 0.

Congrats on the brand new baby!

Good question. Kids first, pets next, then important documents/computer.

I however would salvage photos!!! Most important to me :o)

kids & cats would be ushered out post haste with my purse on my shoulder. If my hair was not on fire already, I might have to run back in to snag my laptop. I would be crying over furniture that my husband made that would never be able to be replaced, but doubt that that would be an option. It would just have to be me and my memories then

Hi Nora and Lola,

congratulations on your new baby! ... you must be enjoying that.
I would make sure everyone was out and probably some photos, handbag, cellphone.

Happy weekend, dear friend

family members could help save the pictures and computers at the same time, of course, if family member is a baby, the BABY is to be saved first.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. 3 screens? I've heard of a few people having 2 screens for their computers, and some that have several screens, but they're showing different things on each one, but yours is a first for me.

Anything I own by LV, my louboutin & Gina shoes, stuff the rest!

First has to be the hamster. Then my computer, cus that's where most of the family photos now are. After that, the albums of photos. (By which time I would probably be burned to a crisp! So actually, I'd probably just be ecstatic to see me and two teens standing outside safe and sound!

Ooh I love being questioned!! I'm 16 but I love games(like a kid XD)

Anyways, at fist I thought it's hard then again I made it easy..

1) If it's like my life now, I'd save myself and my family. And, feel horrified that I have lost my lovely artworks, books, etc...

2) If I am rich or a celeb, just get out of the house feeling normal =)

Have a lovely day my friend,
Berlin
