*I*NTERESTING HOTELS ...

Dear readers, I am participating in Ruby Tuesday, Rednesday and Alphabe-Thursday where ‘I’ IS FOR *I*NTERESTING HOTELS! VERY *I*NTERESTING HOTELS! Decided where to spend your Summer vacation yet? Fed up with the usual bland hotel that could be in anywheresville? How would you like something a bit different – unique, even, and certainly *I*nteresting! How about one of these:
1. 'Hotel Mercedes', Germany (above)
2. Ice Hotel, Quebec (below) 3. Beckham (No! Not that one!) Creek Cave Haven, Arkansas 4. Ariau Towers, Brazil 5.Propeller Island City Lodge, Berlin 6. Library Hotel, Quebec 7. Igloo Hotel, Iceland And a couple more:
ANY OF THESE HOTELS GRAB YOU? KNOW OF ANY OTHER UNUSUAL *I*NTERESTING ONES?
Do tell me! And do check out other Alphabe-Thursday posts @
Jenny Matlock!
And, finally, thank you to all my dear readers who visited or commented.
Have a great weekend!
Enjoy!
XOXO LOLA:)

Actually I recently stayed at the oddest hotel. I don't reccoend it, but it was most certainly an experience:

It was kind of like a luxury coffin. :P

I was thinking I'd prefer the ice hotel in Quebec... until I saw the igloos in Iceland!! (But the library hotel in Quebec also has a strong appeal!)

I have always wanted to stay in the caboose hotel in PA. These look like interesting rooms.

I love funky places to stay. I've stayed in a teepee one before here in Arizona and a railroad car in New Mexico.

It would be so interesting to travel to a lot of those other ones!

Thanks for a fun link this week.

A+

I think those are a little too weird for me. With the exception of the Library Hotel, I think I'll pass on the rest. Thanks for sharing. You just never know what's out there until you go looking eh?~Ames

The Library Hotel in Quebec looks interesting, as long as all the books are not in French!

Oh these are most interesting! If I stayed in the one in Berlin, I would think I was in the Funny Farm!

Somewhere in the West US, you can stay in a firetower.

I haven't decided which car offers the ost comfotrable bed - the MGB, the Mercedes 300S, or the red Cadillac. I'll have to go with the Caddy, as it is the only one in ruby. Sweet luxurious sleep!

the igloo hotel looks interesting

Cool!!! All of them, except for the propeller room...that would be way to busy for me to even get relaxation in.

Winston on a blanket of Flowers is my Tuesday Link. Hope to see you visiting today.

Well, I know for sure that I would not be able to fall asleep in that room in the Berlin hotel! I'm actually rather intrigued by the Ice Hotel, and the igloo one too. I can't get a good night's sleep when it's too warm, so maybe I'd sleep like a baby in one of those!
Happy REDnesday!

What a great red feature. I enjoyed visiting and seeing these very different hotels. I am not that adventurous tho.

Wouldn't those be fun for special travel activities for grandparents and their grandchildren! :) Thanks for such an interesting Rednesday visit.

Wow! Who knew there were so many unusual hotels! Did you find out if they are very expensive to stay in? I'm intrigued by a couple of them (but not the black and white one - I need color way too much).

Happy Rednesday,
Janelle
