Yes, it’s true, dear readers, with the death of this icon – like Marilyn earlier – there are now so few of us left! But where was I? Elizabeth Taylor will definitely be missed, I loved her, but I think MM will be remembered longer. I think her dying at the height of her beauty and career may have something to do with that.

Two great stars who'll be missed...
Elizabeth will be remembered more partly because of all her marriages! Great actress too of course!
They definitely don't make Hollywood stars like they used to. All the actresses now pale in comparison. She's truly iconic but I think Marilyn wins simply because she died young at the height of fame and has been immortalised in pop culture for so long already.
Definitely the end of an era. I think that there is still so much mystery and infamy surrounding Marilyn, that she might be remembered longer. Was she murdered, or was it a suicide or just a tragic accident? We'll never know....
