These rock formations reminded me a area on the South Island of NZ called Pancake Rocks.
I love how they've been shaped over thousands of years by the weather.

I think you can find faces and such in rock formations if you look hard enough! Like that close-up pic reminds me of the Rock Biter in The Neverending Story! And I'm thinking Whistler's Mother for your question...
