I do think you would also enjoy 'Blond Bombshell' with Judy Dench and 'The Boathouse' with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. There are just too many to mention from over the years.

Hope you were not affected by the recent storms and that you had a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you all happiness for the coming New Year . . . Arija

great suggestions. I'll have to add some to my Netflix list. I love Netflix on My (tv) List, and watching the old Masterpiece Theatres, like Upstairs Downstairs and The Forsythe Saga. Check it out! {:-Deb

Happy Holidays to you!
I've seen most of these movies, but not all. Some Like It Hot is hilarious--even today.

I love all the sparkly added to some of the photos! I've seen very few of these films, but I have watched "When Harry Met Sally" more than a few times, and enjoy it each time!

The classics can't be beat. There is something about the 'oldies but goodies'....I think of all you listed, The Apartment was my favorite.

Happy New Year.

All are good, but I am partial to Casablanca, a favorite film of personal redemption for Rick. I love when the French patrons are singing La Marseillaise while drowning out those drunk singing Nazis. And the lines:
- “We’ll always have Paris”
- “You played it for her, now play it for me”
- “This looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship”

Great post! Happy New Year!
