Supertroopers was a pretty funny flick, though I don't know the names of any of the actors or charactors.

"That one guy with the mustache and the hat..."

Lol.

Good post.

Clint Eastwood always made a good cop, but ever since he started talking to empty chairs, he's just not as appealing to me. Great "cop" post!!!

I tend to gravitate toward romantic comedies. My husband loves movies with action.

I love a good cop movie -- and TV shows such as the CSIs and Criminal Minds. But I think it's time for Die Hard to, um, die.... :)

Hi Nora ~~ I like this Movie Cop post although Bruce Willis is the only one I know or could recognize.

I am more familiar with TV Cops. My favorites are 'Mr. Monk,' 'Castle' and his side kick 'Beckett,' and then the old 'Rick Hunter' and his side kick 'Dee Dee' (my ex was De De).

I have a Hunter striped shirt and I always leave the name "Hunter" when I'm to be paged like at a restaurant.

I like the cop/crime movies that dwell on the emotional (or non emotional) turmoil of the individual. Like the classis 1968 and 1971 films Bullitt or Dirty Harry. Those characters seem to feel beleaguered and cannot escape the criminal world - unlucky pedestrians in a job they'd have never chosen but seems to have been thrust onto them. Stoic and enraged and sentimental all rolled up into one law enforcer.,.

Oh now you got me going!!! "The call me MR TIBBS!!" All these movies, I've seen. Love Robocop. And Fargo...when she won the oscar, her comment, I wall always remember and it went something like this "Finally, the Academy saw the work involved and the good acting instead of voting on the beauty queens".

I don't miss any movie of Lethal Weapon and Die Hard movies.

When I'm a teenager, I like seeing 'Hunter', a TV movie series.
