I like watches that double as time pieces and jewelry.

My youngest daughter has a little bishon dog (sp?), and seeing the picture of yours made me smile. Daisy is such a curious thing, and got into my daughter's trash while she was gone to work. By the time my dau got home, Daisy had made a real mess and was quite sick. She is back to her little smiling self now, though!

I personally like the Chanel. It is my kind of look.

My favorite watch of all time was my Mickey Mouse watch!!!

Gorgeous watches! I don't wear a watch anymore, but, if I had the money, I would definitely buy the Marc Jacobs one.

These are all wonderful.

They are lovely. Sadly, I cannot wear a watch. It just dies on me. :-(

Love the humour in the Marc Jacobs watch, but the Rolex is my choice - mostly because it reminds me of the Lavina I inherited from my grandmother!

Ordinary Words...My pendant watch is one of my favorites...but usually I just depend on my 'pocket watch, i.e., my cell phone♫ Great choice for W

Hi Nora ~~ Next to radios I like watches best (that doesn't count cars). Just before we left for London, UK (here now) I tried to get a battery for my Omega Constellation watch the jeweler told me that he would no longer service it and that it should be sent to the factory or taken to a factor authorized dealer for battery changes.

I had lost my every day watch and so I thought I would have to get a new one for our trip. Mrs. Jim suggested that I wait another day. Sure enough, she found my watch for me and SAVED me from buying another watch.

Hope you are doing well, I haven't commented here for a bit and vice versa.

Oh good, because hubby broke the glass of my watch this week (he was trying to fix it, lol), so maybe I can twist his arm to give me the Chanel one!
Probably not, since I don't want him to buy on credit... (I know, life is complicated)

Not necesarily for posting, Nora. I enjoyed reading of your mystery novel, I will look for it. Thank you for leaving your nice comment.

Also the road trip. Our daughter, Karen (the Londoner who works with BP here in London), and granddaughter, KP, Mrs. Jim, and I are flying to Dubrovnik in the morning for a Saturday and Sunday night stay. The weather isn't real good so that will be plenty of time.

We are staying at an old 'in city' small hotel recommended by Rick Steves, author of the "Travels in Europe through the Back Door," travel guides. We have stayed at ones recommended by him at several places, including Paris, Bavaria (Füssen), several in Spain, Switzerland, Italy, et. al.

I still can't afford those luxuries. My watch is just a timepiece for me :)

I've always been intriqued with how wickedly cool some watch designs are.

I never wear them, but I often admire them!

Thanks for a wonderful link for the letter "W".
