A British dog named Mugly has beaten some very stiff – and unattractive – competition to be crowned the World’s Ugliest Dog. The Chinese crested canine’s short snout, beady eyes and white whiskers earned it the esteemed title at the annual contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in California (below) recently.
Mugly – an eight-year-old rescue dog who was named Britain’s ugliest dog in 2005 – won the honour by beating 28 other dogs of questionable beauty from around the world, including ones named Handsome Hector, Creature, Rue, Icky, Spam-O-Rama, and Mouse.

Some of the dogs without fur, are not the most handsome, but know the owners must love them.
Last night I watched Trinny and Susannah's show and they were giving dog owners a makeover. Was really funny as a lot of them looked like their dogs.
