Dear readers, I am participating in Alphabe-Thursday where ‘D’ IS FOR *D*EXTER!
I know, I know, I have come to this rather late, having only just begun catch-up! I know that US audiences are already on the 179th series with Dexter a grandfather casting a wry eye back over his past escapades! And what escapades. I don’t want to do a spoiler for anyone just landed from Mars. Suffice to say I’m still engrossed with the characters, ensemble acting and humour! Who would think the story of a serial killer/psychopath could elicit such humour? But then, that guy in the office next to yours – you know, the one with the ready smile and terrific jokes – who looks so, well, “normal”. What do you REALLY know about HIM?
Here are a few reminders from the series: DO YOU WATCH DEXTER? WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE TV SERIES?
Do check out other Alphabe-Thursday posts @ Jenny Matlock!
And, finally, thank you to all my dear readers who have visited or commented. Have a great weekend!
Enjoy!
XOXO LOLA:) PS Just starting here the second series of The Killing starring Sofie Gråbøl (above). In Danish. Ten episodes. Bliss.

I LOVE Dexter and have watched it since the beginning. It's brilliant! I've also heard that the actor who plays Dexter is one of the nicest celebrities in town. I have several friends who have met him in Yoga class and they said he is so nice and so friendly!
Love the show The Killing too. It was a good one and I'm looking forward to the next season.
Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
Cheers!
Holly
Hi there!! I do not watch Dexter, but I used to love that actor in Six Feet Under! I was sad when that ended! Have you ever watched Castle? Love that! Xoxo Jeanne and the girlz
My sister is a huge fan of the series. Happy RT!
Mine's here.
I am obsessed with Dexter...
I am obsessed with Dexter....
I believe it is here o TV but I haven't seen it.
We don't have cable. This looks like a great show though.
Lola, I have never watched this show but heard good things. I am not sure I get the right premium cable channel. xo
I know it's just crazy isn't it. But it just goes to show they can come up with entirely new and improved shows! Great D!
Hmmm...saw previews when it first came out but couldn't get myself to think of killing someone as humorous...maybe I need to lighten up?
my sis-in-law turned me on to Dexter. I was fascinated by it and tried to watch it, but honestly, the constant f-bombs got to be too much for my delicate ears...so I defected.
Oh dear, I'm from Mars. I've never seen Dexter and know nothing about him. :) I lead a sheltered life.
Dexter scares me but my kids are totally into it! I suppose he is a vigilante! Great D post! I love visiting you here!
I havent watched the first couple of seasons because I didnt think it would be any good. My son turned me onto watching it in 2009 I have been hooked ever since but still havent watched the episodes I missed
Dexter is my son-in-law's favorite show.
=)
My post today: Divine Nature
I've never watched this show, but some good friends LOVE it. Or, really they love Michael C. Hall. =>
Oh please don't hate me but I do not watch Dexter.
The show I'm stuck on is NCIS.
God bless ya and have a marvelous weekend sweetie!!!
I haven't seen Dexter at all. I'm kind of into the Iron Chef elimination right now. And Storage Wars and other demented TV viewing that I'm sure is just rotting my brain.
Thanks for a wonderful D post!
Always lovely to see you!
A+
It's my sister's fave.

I adore Dexter... the hardest part is waiting for the next (most recent) season to come out on DVD! Argh... thought I was going to have Dexter withdrawal before we finally got hold of season 5!
In the meantime, hubby and I dove headfirst into "LOST" ... and are loving that, too! Since it's all over already, the library has all the DVDs on hand.
