My parents actually live near Lassen Volcanic Park back in California. The sign below (Bumpass Hell) is a hiking trail within the volcanic park. I've hiked it many times. Bumpass Hell was named after an early settler who fell into one of the active boiling sulphur pits. It's really something to see but smells like rotten eggs. The rest of the park is gorgeous and I highly recommend visiting. However, I must agree regarding the name. It does sound dreadful.
Whoa, I wonder what "porn laundry" means! LOL perhaps, they also clean undergarments?

These are just hilarious! I vaguely remember a funny/dirty sign in Belgium when I lived there 25 years ago. (I'll have to go out in the barn and haul in my plastic photo tub and find it!)
By the way, I don't know why you have Johnny Depp as the "mascot" on some of your Lola Lifeline pages, but I'm glad you do - he's so dreamy! ;)
