While my guy has seen all of these, he tends to get weepy at the same movies that make me cry. He's a wonderful softie.

Toy Story is a mystery to me on this list. I have to say I boo hooed during Green Mile & my husband's favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption, but he's not a crier :-)

Nora, Bladerunner is by far the absolute best! The music by Vangelis is my most favorite sound track.

Next comes The Green Mile. I have seen it about 5 times.

Then Shawshank Redemmption--I've seen that one 3 times.

Dead Man Walking is also an excellent film, as is Mystic River. Rod has his favorites, too. Three Weddings and a Funeral,
and Love Actually are two of his favorites.

Great post, Nora!

Hummm maybe saving Private Ryan might make my husband tear up, but Old Yeller sends him out of the room and I can hear him blowing his nose. So, yeah I would have to say Old Yeller. Anything with dogs!~Ames

My husband has seen and enjoyed most of these, but I'm not sure any of them made him weepy -- I sure got weepy, though!

Men don't cry . They have no feelings at all . Anyway I've never seen Green Mile but Gladiator made me cry and Shawshank? I can't remember - I think it did around the end of the movie and i think it is a great movie . All movies that make me cry are great imo. I couldn't stop crying in My Name is Khan or in Million Dollar Baby .

It's funny because Hubs always seems to cry in football movies. "The Blind Side" had him crying.

Also, Big Foot. Yeah, he's weird. But sweet. Hubs, not Big Foot.

Yea, Toy Story 3 seems to have that one scene in the end that makes a lot of people cry. So many of the movies in that list are so masculine. I'm a little puzzled about the Transformers movie one though.

It always cracks me up when I look over and see the husband has gotten caught up in one of my "girlie" movies.

I love the movie UP! If you know the producer of it, I totally have a script I'd like them to read!

This was such a terrific link to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "T".

I think I need to revisit some of these movies!

Thanks for linking up.

A+

Some wonderful movies here, but I'm an old softie. Classics from the 40s and 50s are the ones that make me weep.

Some of the movies on this list are puzzling. Why would anyone cry during Transformers or Terminator? I must be missing something. My husband has seen most of these and the only one that forced tears from him was 'Up'. Hope you had a lovely weekend!
