'N' IS FOR ~ NECKLACES... !

Phew, I'm back! Dear readers, just managed to get back here to Spain having been m-a-r-o-o-n-e-d for ages under that horrid volcanic ash cloud! Phew! And just in time to participate in Alphabe-Thursday where ‘N’ is for NECKLACES ~ for Pets in Japan!! Now I have many dear Japanese friends who love their pets and, well, do pamper them a bit! However, do you think the pampering (in these latest pics below from Japan) might be going a bit too far?! Do you pamper your pets (or children or, er, partner!)? Dear readers, do let me know! Time to ‘fess up - in confidence of course! It’ll just be between you and me (and, er, thousands and thousands of my dear readers!) Do let me know what you think!
KEY:
1. Necklaces! (above)
2. Pawicure @ $100 a pop!
3. Kimonos!
4. Dungarees!
5. Ears!
6. Hairbands!
7. Latest must-have for greyhounds!
8. Not forgetting Chihuahas!
9. Cats to rent!

DO YOU PAMPER YOUR PETS ~ OR KIDS ~ OR, ER, PARTNER?!
Have a great Earth Day and Alphabe-Thursday! And check out other great Alphabe-Thursday posts @ Jenny Matlock’s great site! And thank you so much for all the past week's comments, new followers and visits ’cos dear readers often tell me that they like to visit but don’t always have time to leave a comment. And, dear readers, I have the same problem! As you know, though I love to visit your site as often as I can, I’m sorry if I’m not always able to leave a comment ’cos of my P.A. Nora’s work commitments :o( But I do love hearing from you whenever you can and reading each inspirational comment!
XOXO LOLA:)

It looks like you can really dress up your pet.

If my dog was smaller, he would definitely be decked out from head to toe! lol Have a great day Lola! :D

If people contributed as much to the environment (especially since it's Earth Day)as to their pets, we'd all be better off!

I don't want to be a prude but definitely too much. I know the owners think the animals like it but I think they are probably embarrassed. If an animal can feel that way LOL. No offense to anyone that does these things but I just don't get it.

I think all this sort of thing is just wrong. In fact I fell out with a blogger who used to dress her little dog up in clothes.

Dogs are lovely enough naturally to need no further adornments.

Glad you are back, Nora.

Kisses for Lola

Nope, never, not going to happen. But I don't have a dog, or a cat. And my kids nope don't spoil them. But my husband I can be accused of that on occasion but he will be taking care of me when I am old. fun post!

My darling Honey does have a princess charm on her collar ... and little pink booties and a faux furlined pink jacket ... but that is because she is only 4 1/2 pounds and gets very cold very quickly when are out walking, especially in the rain ... her closet of dresses t's, skirts ... well that's just plain pampering!

I'm all for dolling up our little friends.

They need to be spoiled too.

OK. Almost, but not quite, speechless.

This is mind boggling.

I have to admire the creative minds that started marketing this to people who didn't even know they needed it!

What an interesting post.

Glad you got home safe. That was quite something to watch from afar on the news!

A+

I spoil my pets with lots of attention. When it comes right down to it that's what they enjoy the most.

Too cute!! I totally spoil all the luvies in my life, my puppy, my little girl,my bf...they deserve it. If we don't spoil them who will? I am a big dog lover as well and I think dogs know when they look good. These puppies are super stylish:)

Yes, I admit my pets are quite spoiled...but there is a limit! Some of these things are WAY over the top!! Glad you are back home safe and sound!!

Haha....too cute! Maybe they don't have kids and so they have to dress them up like people. Some of the outfits I have to admit I would dress my pet up in but others like the greyhound one...ummm...I couldn't put my poor pet in something like that. LOL!! Great post Lola!

I think this whole accessorizing the pet thing goes to far......of course there are not a lot of clothes for a 130 lb lab either.........happy n day

okay wait..those dogs are adorable! i live in los angeles, so these things don't seem too outrageous to me...but we don't indulge our pups like this. i draw the line at gourmet treats!

The dogs are so cute! Making them wear a necklace is okay, but clothes is a NO NO( I bet in their heads they go:''get this thing off me'').

The volcanic ash has disrupted the internet here =( By the way, welcome back =D

With chips & cookies,
Berlin

There's nothing wrong with taking good care of your pets....but this is ridiculous! I'm a pdicure fan, but mine only cost $20.

Hi Lola and Nora,

Glad that you got back home safely after all the volcanic dust.
Love the pets, but really I think some people go a little too far.

Hope that you had a lovely weekend.
