a recent poll underlines, can whisk you back in time. Watching them again or
even just recalling them, you can summon up intimate feelings about
everything from first dates to the loss of loved ones, from appreciating friendship to overcoming a midlife crisis.
Films, it's reported, really do help to preserve memories and signpost significant milestones in our lives.
They are as powerful as music (see my last post) in re-awakening these past
