ELTON JOHN PERFORMS!

Elton John is often in the press –whether for his concerts, dress or outrageous parties (below)! Recently he commented that X Factor contestants are less likely to succeed in the long term if they haven’t first served an ‘apprenticeship’ in pubs and clubs. He himself studied classical music and played in pubs before achieving fame. WHO IS (OR WAS) YOUR FAVOURITE PERFORMER?

Do tell me! And Happy Ruby Tuesday and Rednesday!
And do visit other posts! (Links at Work of the Poet & Sue Loves Cherries.)

THE MASSACHUSETTS COASTLINE

THE MASSACHUSETTS COASTLINE
You can sunbathe, fish for marlin or whale watch in the bays – but you can’t escape the ghosts of the Pilgrim Fathers of Plymouth and the Puritans of Boston, of John Adams and John Kennedy - all reminders of the unique position Massachusetts has occupied. Unique from a maritime perspective too, because it was from here that America began to spread its influence and interests all around the world. Without doubt a place full of memories.

WHICH PLACE HAS SPECIAL MEMORIES FOR YOU TOO?

Do let me know! Happy Ruby Tuesday to everyone in Australia, New Zealand and the Far East where it’s already Tuesday!
And do visit other Ruby Tuesday posts! (Links at Work of the Poet.)
Enjoy!
XOXO LOLA:)
PS Have a good week and see you again for Alphabe-Thursday!
